This question has been asked of me so many times. I have learned just to ignore them. My parents - you should be looking for a husband to support you! Friends - just go watch the movie why read it! Thank God for my kids (2 great kids). I started reading to them when they were very young and by the time they started school they already knew how to read and write to the amazement of their teachers. My daughter is a avid reader and I am so proud of her. She will be in he 3rd year of college and she is an English Major - Yea?!! My son just graduated from Engineering School
So 'Why do I read so much? Why not? Look at the benefits.'
